Children Steal the Show!

As a part of Children’s day celebrations, students of grade 6 delivered Srimad Bhagavatham lectures, both in English and Bengali with much confidence and enthusiasm while the tiny tots, right from kindergarten section participated in Bhagavad Gita Sloka recitation, dance competition and singing of bhajans. Characters from Ramayana were brought live when the children paraded in the fancy dress competition. HH Bhakti Purusottama Swami, the chairman and HG Sankharshan Nitai das, the vice-chairman of the school presided over the function and distributed the awards for the outstanding talents.

Children were happy to go for a picnic and boat ride in Ganga with HG Pankajanghri Prabhu, HG Jananivasa Prabhu, HH Bhakti Purusottama Maharaj and Sankarshan Nitai Prabhu. They had an interactive question and answer session and lunch together on the banks of Ganga.

Youth of Mayapur were no less to add attraction! During Sri Sri Radha-Madhava procession on Saturday, a unique band party led by the Vaisnava Youth of Mayapur drew the attention of all.
