HH Sacinandana Swami invites everyone to “Mantra Party” in Lithuania on the 23-24th of September. Each day there will be a 10 hour continuous kirtan with inspiring kirtaniyas. “Such festivals as this one gives us a unique opportunity to chant in the association of devotees. We can read the books of Prabhupada alone, we can eat prasadam alone but to chant sankirtan or all together in a group assembly is only possible when we attend such a sankirtan festival.”- explains HH Sacinandana Swami.
Krishna Consciousness is going strong in Lithuania with two annual major Vaishnava festivals organized in summer and winter attracting devotees from the whole Europe and beyond; moreover, there are other preaching events organized such as Goloka party and annual Rathayatra. The organizer of the festival Bhakta Eldaras from Kaunas temple explains that the inspiration to organize such a festival came from HG Caitanya Candra Caran prabhu, who suggested congregational chanting as a means to unite Lithuanian devotees as there are three different devotee communities in Kaunas city alone.
The first “Mantra Party” was organized this March, devotees were inspired by kirtans of HG Ajamil prabhu, HG Vicaru prabhu, HG Ojasvi prabhu, HG Tarana Caitanya prabhu and others. This time we are waiting for two disciples of Srila Prabhupada: HH Dhirasanta das Goswami and HG Jayagaura prabhu.
