Here is the latest update on Agnideva Prabhu:
Several days ago he was moved from the hospital to a 24-hour medically supervised rehabilitation center. There each day he is receiving 5 hours of physiology therapy and exercise sessions specially designed for patients of open heart surgery with respiratory problems. This therapy is spread over two sessions; morning and afternoon.
His appetite is good and his heart monitors have been removed. It is uncertain how long he will be there. After his discharge from the center, he will have to do out-patient physiotherapy for two to three weeks. His recuperation period has been estimated to be 6 weeks. Today they made Agnideva prabhu walk up and down the treatment hall 20 times forward and 20 times backward with no walker. The doctor in charge was pleasantly surprised at his performance.
