Mahatma das: “It was the most powerful and important events in my spiritual life since my initiation 27 years ago.” Hari-kirtana d, New York
We need time – and the proper environment – to periodically reflect on our spiritual life and make needed changes. This is the purpose of a retreat. Most of us already know where we need to improve, but change is not easy. A retreat is a place where we leave our regular life behind and focus on one thing only: improving our Krsna consciousness. In this highly focused environment, and in the association of other sincere devotees, we get the strength and impetus we need to take our Krsna consciousness to another level.
You will be amazed at how deep you can go in your chanting when you attend a japa retreat. Even if you have been chanting for forty years, you will be facilitated to go deeper into your japa than ever before. Not only will your chanting improve at the retreat, it will continue to improve long after the retreat is over. And when your chanting improves, you entire spiritual life improves.
If you feel your chanting is not as good as it could be, not as good at it needs to be, we invite you to attend the upcoming Japa Retreats in NewYork lead by Sacinandana Swami.
“One of the best experiences of my life.”
Romapada Swami

What About Prasadam?
Apurva Prabhu and his wife Mother Kamalini are the official japa retreat cooks. The prasadam is good, so nutritious, and so tasty, that it’s worth coming just for the prasadam (actually many devotees sign up for the retreat when they learn that these two great cooks will be there!).
