Sri Mayapur International School offers educational facilities and guidance for the children of the devotees of Iskcon Mayapur and the surrounding community. The position of teacher in Mayapur allows significant time to engage in devotional service to Sri Sri Radha Madhava, Sri Panca Tattva, and Sri Sri Prahlad Nrmsadeva, visit pilgrimage sites in the Holy Dham and easy access to other tirthas in India during the contractual period. SMIS is seeking a qualified Primary School Teacher and manager to lead our growing grade k-6 class teachers. The applicant must be experienced in organising the relevant syllabii and assisting the other members of staff in achieving the expectations of the school, parents and community. The applicant must have the necessary experience and drive to manage disciplinary and curriculum focus of the primary school.
Successful full-time applicants receive an appropriate remuneration package and residences to maintain themselves and family whilst residing in the Sri Mayapur. Applicants will have a responsible and tolerant attitude towards children and be able to manage the behaviour of students in their specific areas. As professionals, teachers must be willing to take on the responsibilities and challenges that the school encounters in its day-to-day schedule. As SMIS is an English medium school the applicant must be fluent in English. References and related documentation (Child Protection Team clearance) are also necessary.

Sri Mayapur International School (SMIS) is seeking a qualified, full time teacher for our senior school Sciences and/or Mathematics area. A range of experitise in all sciences is preferrable and physics and/or biology is essential. A teachers qualification and knowledge of science areas is also acceptable. In Mathematics teachers must be proficient up to the year 11/12 stage.
The applicant must have a responsible and tolerant attitude towards adolescents and be able to manage the behaviour of students of all high school ages. Duties include instruction and supervision of SMIS students and proficiency in planning for the needs of the syllabus. Previous experience is an advantage but not a necessity.
As SMIS is an English medium school the applicant must be fluent in English. References and related documentation (Child Protection Team clearance) are necessary.
The successful applicant will receive an appropriate remuneration package according to experience and qualifications which includes salary, accommodation (apartment) and prasadam. The position allows significant time off to enjoy the Holy Dham or visit other holy places in India during contractual period. Applicants who are prepared to stay for at least two years will be given preference. It is important the applicant is prepared the sometimes ascetic lifestyle in Mayapura Dham
