The 16th Disappearance-Day of our beloved Tamal Krishna Goswami.
H.H. Niranjana Swami was saying that during the kirtans in Mayapur in 2002 Tamal Krishna Maharaja was so affectionate towards him, that it was very very moving for him. Tamal Krishna Maharaja always wanted him to come to his room for the kirtans, he would always ask him to lead kirtan, he would always ask him to chant particular melodies. Niranjana Swami said it was that particular year that Maharaja was showing uncanny affection towards a particular group of his godbrothers and that he felt somehow that he was on the mercy end, that he was getting some special mercy of a senior godbrother. They became very close during those days in 2002 at the Mayapur Festival.
