Gita Nagari Farm is a sacred place of great serenity and abundance. It is set in 350 acres of luscious green landscape, blessed with many cows, peacocks and wildlife—surrounded by beautiful streams, forests and hills. It is an optimal setting for those trying to lead an ideal life.
Originally founded by Srila Prabhupada in 1974, the project and its growth is currently under the careful guidance of HH Devamrita Swami. A team of his disciples have recently embarked upon an ambitious project to expand and further develop Gita Nagari Farm.
The leading goals for the project are as follows:
Reinforce and enhance the cow sanctuary.
Build cottage homes for devotees seeking retreat / retirement homes amongst devotees.
Further increase the outreach impact through Bhakti Yoga retreats.
