CONGRATULATIONS to Nandapriya Sikdar, who took diksha initiation recently from His Holiness Jayapataka Swami via Skype! (Before his operation) His Holiness Jayapataka Swami is such a magnanimous devotee, he can initiate a whole village at once, or just one girl on the other side of the world in Alachua. Maharaja asked her if sheâd like to keep her name, which she has been called since birth (when Nandapriya was born, her father asked His Holiness Jayapataka Swami, his guru maharaja, to name the baby, so he named her then also!). Nandapriya sweetly replied, âWhatever you like.â Her initiated name is Nandapriya Prema devi dasi! Ki Jaya! The house was filled with loving disciples and great happiness. We know Srila Prabhupada is so pleased also seeing the children born into the Movement grow up and choose to become serious devotees. It is a very special kind of pleasure indeed!
