ISKCON Melbourne – Australia celebrates Sri Krishna Janmastami 2018.

It was another great event of Melbourne Mahaprabhu Mandir where everyone came together and celebrated this grand festival. We should have received over 12000 guests over three-day festival. We were able to feed everyone with sumptuous feast. Celebration consisted gorgeously decorated darshan of Sri Sri Radha Vallabha, Sri Gaura Nitai, Sri Jagannatha Baladeva Subhadra, nonstop kirtan, cultural program (drama, dance, music), abhiseka (special bathing ceremony), fire sacrifice, offering of arati trays to the Lord by our guests etc. Over 1000 Srila Prabhupada’s books were distributed. It was joyous event for all participants, even weather was in our favour.
We also had very special dignitaries who attended this great festival Hon Ted Baillieu the former premier of Vic. Hon Martin Foley – State member for Albert Prak, Hon Matthew Guy opposition leader from Victoria, Hon Inga Peulich, Dr Ketie Allen, Andrew Bond and many other dignitaries from government and different organisations. All our dignitaries have praised and appreciated our ISKCON Melbourne’s contribution to Melbourne community for many years.
