Although it was not in his written will, Jayapataka Swami had verbally made Bhakti Purusottama Swami the executor of his living will. Thus, in the case that Jayapataka Swami should enter a state of unconsciousness, Bhakti Purusottama Swami will make decisions related to his health.
The GBC Chairman Ramai Swami further suggested to Bhakti Purusottama Swami that a team of carers comprised of close friends and disciples of Jayapataka Swami would be better suited to deal with such a serious responsibility and would better come to ideal conclusions. Thus Bhakti Purutottama Swami selected the following vaisnavas to be the caretakers of Jayapataka Swami:
Braja Hari das, Revati Ramana das, Radhanatha Swami, Gopal Krsna Goswami, Bhakti Charu Swami, Kavicandra Swami, Dr. Madhavananda and Bhakti Purusottama Swami himself.
This team will give regular, official updates on Jayapataka Swami’s health, they will also make decisions that pertain to his recovery and will report directly to the EC Chairman on all developments.
