5:30 to 6:00 – assemble at the Bhakti Center (BC)
6:00 pm – two separate kirtan parties leave the BC and meet at Washington Square Park (near NYU).
6:45 or 7:00 pm – kirtan at Washington Sq Park.
8:00 to 8:15 pm – arrive back at the Bhakti Center.
Route 1 – the Swami’s route: walk from the BC to 26 2nd Ave, and then north on 2nd Ave to Astor Place; walk west on Astor Place and walk to Wash Sq Park.
Route 2 – BC devotees’ route: walk from the BC to Houston, going west to Broadway; then north on Broadway to W4th Street; turn left on W4th and enter Wash Sq Park from opposite NYU. This one will have amazing chanters too, likely: Jai Giridhari, Virabhadra Rama, Jahnavi Harrison, and others.
