A team of matajis has been steadily maintaining an exciting outreach program in Durban, South Africa for the last 12 years led by Rangadevi Mataji. They have been conducting plays, cooking and distributing prasadam (sanctified food offered first to Lord Krsna) to the children who are led in blissful Harinam sankirtan processions (singing the Hare Krsna mantra and dancing through the streets). They run workshops where they teach how to play different musical instruments, distributing transcendental literature, keeping the body fit through yoga, etc. This team of devotee women has also embarked on developing other outreach programs at orphanages in other areas in Durban.
