New York Temple gets some help (Album of photos)
The second day of the Sanga of GBC, Guru and Sanyasis was equally amazing from the previous day. Vaisesika Prabhu gave the Srimad-Bhagavatam lecture and emphasized on reading Srila Prabhupada’s books. This topic, the reading of Srila Prabhupada’s books, was one of the two main conclusions from the previous gathering. And all of us in ISKCON need to undertake this in our daily sadhana. Another highlight of the day was the extra-ordinary campaign by Vaisesika Prabhu. Members of the gathering were asked to sign their names in 4 sets or 48 books of Srimad-Bhagavatam. These 48 books will be auctioned into 48 sets of Srimad-Bhagavatam, one signed book for each set. The collection will be given to Sri Sri Radha-Govinda situated in Brooklyn, New York. This is the first of its kind, which no one has seen or done in the history of our society.
