Mayapur Planetarium (Album of photos)
Ramai Swami: ISKCON leaders were invited to attend a presentation by the committee for the ToVP Planetarium. This important aspect of the new temple was very much desired by Srila Prabhupada who wanted to show Vedic cosmology and the underlying spiritual aspect to the world.
The devotees sat in a small replica dome and images of the planetary system and its origin were projected onto the ceiling. This was followed by an address by Jayapataka Swami, the chairman of the committee. Other devotees, such as, Drutakarma das, Ramesvara das, Antardvipa das and Anakadundubhi das explained other themes that are to be incorporated into the planetarium.
