Chatigram (as mentioned in C.C.M.) or present Chattogram was blessed by the divine appearances of Sri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu’s eternal associates Sri Pundarika Vidyanidhi Thakur, Sri Basudev Dutta Thakur, Sri Mukunda Dutta Thakur, Sri Dhananjaya Pandit, and so many great souls. Recently, with the divine blessings of their Lordships Sri Sri Radha Madhava, Sri Jagannatha, Sri Baladeva, Sri Suvadra Maharani, Sri Sri Goura Nitai, and His Divine Grace A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Srila Prabhupada ISKCON Nandankanan organized ‘Gaura Katha’ a 3-day programme for the second time at J.M.Sen hall. ISKCON NandanKanan inaugurated this programme in Bangladesh for the first time and completed the 2nd season as well with huge success. HG Naru Gopal Prabhu, ambassador of GBC for Bangladesh ISKCON affairs graced the grand occasion and offered “Gaura Kathamrita” to all presences. Along with HG Naru Gopal Prabhu HG Chinmoy Krishna Prabhu, president of ISKCON Pundarik Dham , HG Radha Govinda Prabhu, president of ISKCON Coxâs Bazar, HG Pandit Gadadhar prabhu, president of ISKCON Chattagram , HG Nitai Gouranga Prabhu , president of ISKCON Feny, HG Balaram Karuna prabhu , Congregational councilor, Chattogram and many other senior devotees marked the 3-day programme with their auspicious presences. Nearly 1500 devotees attended the holy occasion. Later, enchanting Kirtan was performed and delicious Krishna prasad was served among the devotees. HG Naru Gopal prabhu steered hearts by presenting ecstatic Kirtan. This ” Gaura Katha” offers us an opportunity to know more about Sri Sri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu. Sri Sri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu began and popularized the chanting of âHARE KRISHNAâ mahamantra. Later, His Divine Grace A.C.Bhaktivedanta Swami Srila Prabhupada spread this movement across the world. The sublime chanting of “HARE KRISHNA” and the holy kirtan will make us free from all illusions, and help us to revive our eternal spiritual consciousness. In the end, we can remember what Sriman Mahaprabhu declared; ” Param Vijayate Sri Krishna Sankirtanam”.
Your humble servant
