Greetings from Canada, Hawaii, and Mayapur. We are currently working on implementing a Clinical Pathology lab at the Mayapur Community Hospital (Gauranagar, Near Shivdoba,Sri Mayapur, West Bengal, Pin 741313)
We need basic Pathology lab machines, equipment and funds. We are asking the IKSCON community for help in acquiring the necessary equipment and funds so a self-sustaining and medically sound Pathology lab for our ever-growing ISKCON Mayapur community can be established.
Equipment and machines needed:
1. CBC with Differential- Point of Care (POC) Analyzers
2. Chemistry (CMP/BMP)- POC Analyzers
3. Glucometers with strips
4. Urinalysis and pH POC Assays
5. Typhoid IgM Serodiagnosis POC Assays
6. Lipids Analyzers (Total Cholesterol, HDL, LDL, Triglycerides)
7. Hematology Assays (Iron, TIBC, Ferritin, Folate, B12)
8. Specimen collection vials, containers, storage containers (fridges, freezers, room temperature
racks, etc.), delivery containers, and waste containers
9. Medical nitrile gloves (Sizes: S, M, L), Alcohol swabs, Ethanol disinfectants
10. Administrative- computers, lab software, procedure manuals (assay instructions, sample
turnaround times, etc.)
11. Digital X-ray machine (for Community Hospital)
12. Body Scanner (for Community Hospital)
