President Kovind receives maha fruits from the altar at ISKCON Manila
His Excellency Ram Nath Kovind President of India and his wife Savita Kovind visited the temple of ISKCON Sri Sri Radha Madhava Mandir in Makati, Metro Manila, Philippines in the afternoon on October 20th, 2019.
This was the President’s first visit to the Philippines and devotees were jubilant about being able to host him.
What made Ram Nath Kovind’s visit truly auspicious is that it happened during the month of Kartik, which is considered to be a special period of the year for deepening one’s love for Krishna.
President Kovind receives a Bhagavad-Gita As It Is by His Divine Grace A.C Bhaktivedanta Swami Srila Prabhupada
President Kovind and his entourage offered ghee lamps to Lord Damodar and to Their Lordships Sri Sri Radha Madhava. Devotees gave them maha sweets, which are offered to the Deities, a copy of the Bhagavad-Gita As It Is, other books, as well as photos of Their Lordships Sri Sri Radha Madhava.
