Our small family, originally from Europe, just spend 4 years in Sri Vrndavana Dhama.
In the beginning our plan was to find other Vaisnava families who were interested in living a few Km outside of Vrndavan town. We wanted to buy land together, so that each family can have their own land, where they can grow vegs, fruits, flowers and keep cows.
This way form a small community together.
But due to the risks involved living in the countrie side, outside Vrndavana and the extreme weather conditions we weren’t able to realize our plans.
We visit Puri few times and found that these problems do not exist here. I started looking for land, with the help of a god brother that live here for the last 18 years and gradually discover that Puri area is full of opportunities. The land around here is good, the prices are low and the local people are also friendly towards devotees. Sweet water is available by drilling a few feets below the surface of the earth. The air is really cool and fresh due to the sea breeze coming from the ocean. Also the beach in Puri provides a nice opportunity for nice Harinama sankirtan, being always full of tourist.
We would like to invite any family that might be interested in creating a small community with us here in the holly dhama of Lord Jagannath and Lord Caitanya Mahaprabhu lila’s.
