Bhaktivedanta Book Trust’s Revisions Review Panel.
In order to assure that fidelity to Srila Prabhupada’s intent is preserved in his published works, the BBT, on October 17, 2019, assembled a Revisions Review Panel (RRP).
The RRP is a group of accomplished devotees who will evaluate revisions made by BBT editors to Srila Prabhupada’s books. The panel will design criteria and a system by which proposed, or previously accepted revisions will be reviewed. The BBT and ISKCON’s GBC conjointly selected the panel of reviewers.
The following members of the RRP have been appointed for a one-year term: Pradyumna Dasa, Bhanu Swami, Bhakti Vijnana Swami, Kalachandji Dasa, Krsna
Ksetra Swami, Radhika Ramana Dasa, and Krsnarupa Devi Dasi.
The BBT will annually review and re-certify the members of this team. The BBT had previously passed resolutions in 2016 and early 2019 to form such a group and recently brought the plan to fruition after developing a consensus with ISKCON’s international GBC members at the GBC’s plenary meeting in Tirupati in October 2019.
The RRP’s conclusions will be posted on a PAMHO conference.
