Mukunda das: Almviks Gard is an eco-village and farm project started in 1981. It is near Jarna, approximately an hour by car from Stockholm. ISKCON has had cows at Almvik for nearly 40 years. Today we have 12 cows and oxen. We seek the right person to shoulder the responsibility for our goshala as well as the development of cow protection.
The person we seek (with or without family):
• Is good with animals and loves cows
• Is industrious
• Is competent with agriculture/ animal husbandry or a strong desire to
learn these
• Wants to work with oxen
• Likes to engage others and has team spirit
• Can generate ideas how to raise funds through cow protection and
agriculture
• Is good at planning and organizing
• Is interested in participating in temple programs and is practicing
sadhana bhakti
Almvik offers the following benefits:
