I take Bhakti Charu Maharaja getting Covid as a sign from Krishna that this dangerous pandemic is far from over and devotees are not immune from its effects. I take it as Krishna warning us to not relax our guard. We need to be very careful personally and in making sure that the devotees in our care stay vigilant.
I find that sankirtan devotees / book distributors are taking dangerous risks by mixing with people closer than 6 feet / 2 meters and not wearing proper masks etc. It is due to their deep compassion for the conditioned souls. But we as leaders need to counsel them to stay safe–and monitor the situation to make sure that they do. These great souls will take their lead from us and we need to protect them.
