Parasuram das: In ISKCON’s incorporating document, Srila Prabhupada imparts the “Seven Purposes of ISKCON” as follows:
1. To systematically propagate spiritual knowledge to society at large and to educate all people in the techniques of spiritual life in order to check the imbalance of values in life and to achieve real unity and peace in the world.
The first purpose is the fun part of Krishna Consciousnesses, attempting to deliver the message of Lord Caitanya:
yare dekha, tare kaha ‘krsna’-upadesa amara ajnaya guru hana tara’ ei desa
“Instruct everyone to follow the orders of Lord Sri Krsna as they are given in the Bhagavad-gita and Srimad-Bhagavatam. In this way become a spiritual master and try to liberate everyone in this land.”

We are very saddened that HH Bhakti Charu Maharaja has physically left us.
He was always encouraging us and participating in the festivals, he had many friends in the UK Yatra, such as HG Mahaksa Prabhu.
Letter from Maharaja on hearing HG Mahaksa had left his body:
“Yes, he was a very close friend of mine and many other devotees. I am so sorry to receive this sad news. He served Srila Prabhupada so sincerely. He will naturally be blessed by His Divine Grace and Sri Krishna for that. We all here will miss him dearly.”
Letter from Maharaja to Tribhuvanatha’s festival team:
“The tent was very nicely done depicting the mood from where Srila Prabhupada started this movement, I could see that this tent attracted lots of Westerners and I was very pleased to see that. We definitely need the movement to reach everyone and I can see that you all are really dedicated to spread Krishna Consciousness among the westerners. Please continue to serve nicely like this going forward”
