It is with a heavy heart that we wish to inform the devotee community, family, friends and well-wishers that HG Radha Giridhari Prabhu disciple of HH Partha Sarathi Das Goswami has passed away at 12h25 pm today 18/08/20. As many of you know he has been battling with Covid-19 pneumonia this past 2 weeks in ICU. We pray that Their Lordships Sri Sri Radha Radhanath, Sri Jagannath Baladev Subhadra, Sri Sri Nitai Gaurahari bless him on his spiritual journey.
Funeral arrangements will be Covid19 compliant.
Radha Giridhari prabhu was one of the most significant preachers in the greater Durban community, bringing many, many people to Krishna consciousness. His kirtans were very sweet and attractive and his classes were very encouraging and inspiring.
He was also especially known for his commitment to caring for devotees, a cherished engagement he directly received from his spiritual master. Radha Giridhari prabhu would daily connect with devotees, encourage them and, according to his capacity, make arrangements to relieve any challenging situations they were undergoing. He truly was an emblem of service to all devotees.
This loss is almost unbelievable and unacceptable. He will be deeply missed here in South Africa, but we are convinced that his destination is most auspicious and glorious, at the lotus feet of Srila Prabhupada serving Lord Caitanya’s sankirtan mission.
