This was a very special event. Rathayatra had not taken place in Scotland since 1982, so many years later the Lord of the Universe was again giving his causeless mercy. After 3 years of trying we had finally booked ourselvces onto the famous Edinburgh Fringe Festival parade. So for this Rathayatra we had already got 100,000 people lining the streets. Devotees came from Leicester, Birningham, Coventry and anywhere inbetween. The day before we had the MAnchester Rathayatra and the same devotees had continued on to Scotland. HH Mahavishnu Swami and HH Janananda Swami danced in estacy. The wonderful thing about this event is that the organisers loved our colourful presence and this means that Rathayatra Edinburgh will now be an annual event.
