Parasuram das: It is sad news that Mahavidja prabhu ACBSP has left his body this evening
Sunday 16th August.
Last year he suffered a heart attack, he was in no illusion about his days
being numbered. He left his body this evening at our Temple/HQ in Brent
Cross, North London, from a heart attack.
I only knew him since 1991 when he built a beautiful ornate Padayatra cart.
Previously he had helped construct the Temple in South Africa, and raise
the funds for it. A regular actor with the Bhaktivedanta Players, and a
handyman/ builder for many of the U.K. Temples.
He suffered pain from poor health in his later years, yet still managed to
cook an incredible community feast from his home, and always ready to give
the Bhagavad Gita classes.
Over the last five years, he gave a £100 monthly standing order, from his
pension, also built a beautiful marble temple room in Brent Cross out of
his own funds.
He lived there in a simple spotless caravan with his Deities, doing his
sadhana and taking responsibility for the whole project.
A 100% Prabhupada man, that’s the best achievement anyone can obtain in
their lifetime.
