ISKCON Kanpur and thousands of the surrounding villages are affected by flood it has brought damage and suffering to ISKCON Kanpur. Prasadam is being cooked last three days in great inconvenience. But despite all our inconvenience we badly need to help the nearby villagers (http://www.dandavats.com/?p=8855) who are in very distressed condition. There is hardly any help from government as of now.
Flood waters entered into some urban areas in Kanpur.Our ISKCON Kanpur is also under water and water level is increasing like anything.
All our cows are standing on the high way in great inconveniences though the cows seem to be happy. We shifted Srila Prabhupada’s books to 2nd floor room and all our office and kitchen Godown things. Still many valuable things are under water and damaged completely.
The water is about 4 ft deep already entered into Temple Hall and first floor of Brhamacari Ashram, Devotee kitchen, Account office.
Today finally we relocated our kitchen to nearby village and some devotees are staying there.
We are facing problem of drinking waters, electricity etc.
Of course Ganga Maia is coming to get darshan of the Sri Sri Radha Madhav ,Sri Sri Gaur Nitai and Sri Rama-Laxman- Sita and Hanumanji and Srila Prabhupada for the first time.
