5 years ago the project “Krsna Cuisine” was born in the city of San Vicente del Raspeig (Alicante), SPAIN
This project consists mainly of two activities: one, the expansion of Krishna consciousness and, in order to be able to carry out the different programmes corresponding to this activity, a 60 square metre room called “Lotus Room” is available. The Krsna Cuisine centre is located next to the University of Alicante with a campus of 37,000 students.
The second activity is a modern restaurant, fully equipped, both in facilities and machinery, with a kitchen of 65 square meters with its refrigerator in situ and in annex a large pantry.
It also has a room with two dishwashers for the treatment and cleaning of all the utensils used by the customers.
The dining room of 180 square metres is currently set up to cater for 40 guests, with the possibility of increasing this number to 78, which is the authorised capacity.
The restaurant has been in operation for 5 years and is well known in the region because we are Hare Krishna and there are not many vegan restaurants here.
The current operation requires four full-time positions, a cook, a kitchen assistant that covers the service of waiter, a second waiter and a cleaning technician.
The premises have been built and assembled completely at my expense, but the space is rented.
The current rental contract is for 10 years and is renewable, with an option to buy. The first 5 years have already passed.
I Kesava Bharati dasa am the owner and I am willing to transfer completely the exploitation of the whole restaurant part in a non profitable way The possibilities of exploitation are manifold as the business, apart from the restaurant license, has officially all the necessary permits and patents for the activities of :
– Catering
– Take away
– Home delivery
– Manufacture and distribution to outdoor shops under the name “Krsna Cuisine” of all flour products, pastries and jams.
