Divyangi Devi Dasi
This humble devotee moved from her native home of Belarus to New York City in 2016 to study English and by Krishna’s arrangement she had a friend in New York named Zinaida who was a devotee! She started visiting the Radha Govinda mandir in Brooklyn every Sunday and during one Sunday feast program two devotees from NYC Harinam invited her to come and chant in Union square park. She started visiting the Harinam and taking part in the chanting almost every day after school. She was also attentively watching the book distributors and she quickly developed the desire to engage in the service of distributing Srila Prabhupada’s books. She’s been doing that service ever since with great determination following in the footsteps of her Gurumaharaja HG Vaisesika prabhu. For over two and a half years she was distributing countless books along side the NYC Harinam in the subways and streets of the city all year round during the cold winters and the very warm summers. Now living full time in Radha Govinda mandir she’s become one of New York City’s stalwarts of book distribution inspiring many devotees to take part in this wonderful preaching service. Over the years she has also been regularly cooking nice prasadam offerings for all the NYC Harinam devotees. We are indeed grateful to this softhearted Vaishnavi.
