Today was the 14th day of HH Sivarama Maharaja having started showing symptoms for Covid-19. By now the infectious stage is over and we are happy to report that his official quarantine is also over. He has no complaints other than weakness. His vital signs are normal, monitoring will be less intense from now on. His rehabilitation includes lots of fluids, daily walks, some mobility and breathing exercises, and lots of rest. Some weakness over the next 4-8 weeks is normal, he will need time to get back his full strength and needs to be very careful with overexertion. The medical team will be on stand by and some tests have been scheduled for the next weeks.
We would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to the wonderful doctors who have tirelessly served Maharaja in the past two weeks with their expert advice: Hare Krsna Dasi, Pundarika prabhu, Radha-priya mataji, Sundarananda prabhu, Sundari mataji and Dr. Otto Skorán. Also we would like to convey their gratitude to all of you for so wonderfully honoring HH Sivarama Swami’s request to trust them and for not flooding them or Maharaja with suggestions for cures, not interfering and being so patient. We will not be sending daily updates from now on but will occasionally update you with information about Maharaja. Jaya Sri Sri Radha Syamasundara!
