This morning we learned that one of the devotees living in the temple, Balarama Dasa, has tested positive for COVID-19. Till now he has not been able to trace out where he came in contact with the virus.
The health and welfare of both the devotees residing in the temple and those who visit is our number one priority, and thus we are taking the following steps to best insure everyone’s health:
Balarama has begun a complete quarantine, isolating himself from all other resident devotees. So far he hasn’t experienced any symptoms.
The temple property and buildings will remain completely closed to the public until further notice.
All resident devotees will be tested for COVID-19.
We request that anyone who recently visited the temple self-monitor their health for 14 days, get tested if applicable, and follow CDC guidelines if symptoms develop. CDC
The resident devotees will continue to serve the Deities throughout the temple lockdown.
