Invitation to the Open Vyasa-puja Book

by Administrator / 30 Jan 2011 / Published in Announcements  /

By Pradyumna Dasa

Deadline: April 15, 2011

Dear Srila Prabhupada disciple,

Please accept my humble obeisances. All glories to Srila Prabhupada.

Last year we launched the Open Vyasa-puja book – “Srila Prabhupada Tributes” – a book in which all of Srila Prabhupada’s disciples are welcome to be included. The success of the book lay in its wonderful offerings – more than 250, from devotees all over the world. Many devotees expressed how they relished the opportunity to write and share their realisations. Based on this success, we plan to publish another Tributes book this year for Srila Prabhupada’s Vyasa-puja.

The book:
– is open to all of Srila Prabhupada’s disciples
– gives all of Srila Prabhupada’s disciples an opportunity to express their realizations – provides an opportunity for all of his disciples to share in the common purpose of glorifying His Divine Grace

The book accepts offerings from everyone directly initiated by Srila Prabhupada, regardless of their personal history, present circumstances, personal views, or institutional affiliations.

The book is not meant to replace ISKCON’s regular Vyasa-puja book; it is an additional offering. This is a personal, non-institutional book, produced with respect for, but independently of, formal devotional institutions and authorities.

The production team and editors are all second-generation devotees, either by birth or by having come to Krishna consciousness after Srila Prabhupada’s departure. Both a Dasa and Jayadvaita Swami are supporting the production team with advice and guidance on the production process.

Every disciple who submits an offering will receive a free copy of the book. Devotees in South Africa have already contributed generously to sponsor the printing of the book. But there are still sponsorship opportunities available – please visit the website www. sptributes. com for details.

The deadline for submitting an offering is 15th April 2011. To find out more
– and, especially, for details on submitting your offering – please see www. sptributes. com.

We welcome you to contribute an offering. And please spread the word!

Your servant,

Pradyumna Dasa Project Manager
