Grammy nominated American Born Kirtan singer Gaura Mani Devi shares hope today and has helped millions of lives with prayers for inner peace and happiness.
As of January 2021 over 500 Million views in approximately 100 countries have been telecast through her Media platforms.
As a little girl, Gaura Mani Devi learned sanskrit prayers from the ancient texts of India. She was told that by chanting these prayers she would find peace in her heart. Whenever she felt alone, she closed her eyes and chanted these prayers. She was so proud of herself when she learned the entire mantra by heart that she went to school and told her teacher. She chanted the long mantra, but her teacher wasnât happy and said, â What is the use of memorizing this if you donât know the meaning?â She felt heart broken but decided to learn meaning too. And went back the next day and recited it to the whole school. She was only 5 years old. She said to herself, when I grow up Iâm going to share this mantra with the whole world so they can feel the peace that she feels.
During her stay in the sacred land of Vrindavan, she wanted to bring the mood of purity to her viewers and shot her music video on the enchanted waters of Govinda Kund (The Pond of God).
