Please Pray for Dr. Anand Kesari in Alachua Who Passed Away from Covid-19.
By Mukhya Devi Dasi
It is with sadness and heartbreak that we announce the passing of Dr. Anand Kesari due to COVID 19. Dr. Anand, as we called him, was a vital part of our devotee congregation, who took to Krishna consciousness readily from the first time Sakshi Gopal Prabhu visited his medical practice.
As he learned more and practiced more (he had been chanting 16 rounds a day for over a year, finishing them before going to work every morning), his enthusiasm grew. He loved to sing, you may remember his Bollywood tunes on stage during our Holi festivals. He took lessons with Bada Haridas Prabhu, to learn more about bhajan and kirtan, and always had a slot during the Janmastami stage performances, singing Krishna bhajans.
He hired an artist to paint Krishna pastimes all along the top of the walls in the waiting room of his medical office so that his patients had no choice but to see and appreciate the Lord.
I was always personally encouraged by Dr. Anand and the way he took Krishna consciousness seriously and adapted it into his own life. He was a real friend to our temple and a generous supporter of all the projects at New Raman Reti. We pray that Lord Krishna has him safely in service at His lotus feet now.

Published previously: CONGRATULATIONS to Dr. Anand Kesari on the beautiful mural just completed for his medical practice Gastro-Colon Clinic and Endoscopy Center in Ocala, Florida. Dr. Anand wanted to beautify the lobby in his waiting room, and when he saw the sign “Muralist” on the car in front of him, he had an idea. He called the artist, showed her the space, and gave her a picture to copy from. From that, she created this 30’ x 12’ full-color mural. How lovely for his patients to gaze on Krishna’s form to calm their nerves as they wait for their appointment!
