The Study Circle of the International Society for Krishna Consciousness, ISKCON Dominican Republic, carried out a book donation activity, sankirtan, in the main universities of the country and in the National Library.
Those favored in this round or opportunity were the Universidad Iberoamericana (UNIBE), Instituto Tecnológico de Santo Domingo (INTEC), Pontificia Universidad Católica Madre y Maestra (PUCMM) in Santo Domingo and the Pedro Henríquez Ureña National Library (BNPHU), in whose centers from higher studies, students and interested people will have access to the source of Vedic knowledge that deals with absolute truth and other philosophical corollaries.
With this objective and due formality, the delivery of the following selection of transcendental books was celebrated: Bhagavad Gita as it is, Srimad Bhagavatam (the collection of Ten Volumes), Born Again, Beyond Birth and Death, Journey to the Self-knowledge, The Teachings of Lord Kapila, Natural Cooking and Secrets of Health.
The Study Circle, integrated by Vidyabhusana Das, Mukunda Madhava Das, Syam Krishna Gopal Das and Yogavit Das, is eternally grateful for the mercy and inspiration of our Guru Maharaja and the generous attention of the people who worthily represented the UNIBE, INTEC and PUCMM universities ., and the Pedro Henríquez Ureña National Library, who also received prasadam (halava) and an equal amount of the aforementioned works of His Divine Grace AC Bhaktivedanta Swami Srila Prabhupada.
The study Circle also expresses the same sentiment of gratitude to each of the devotees donors from the national and international community, without whom it would not have been possible to perform the humble sankirtan, in support of the libraries of these institutions.
The second round of delivery to other universities and state institutions is currently being coordinated.
