The ISKCON of Gainesville Krishna House community is expanding its outreach mission creating more opportunities for leadership roles. We are currently looking to fill two full time paid management positions in our Krishna Lunch department. For those who are not familiar with our program we distribute between 800-1300 plates of prasadam daily (Monday – Friday) on the University of Florida campus where we also do kirtan and book distribution.
Krishna Lunch is an exciting outreach program that is very popular with the students. We also have many young, intelligent devotees living in the ashram at Krishna House who are enthusiastically leading innovative evening outreach programs that regularly attract many students.
The two management positions can be filled by a couple wishing to work together or by two separate individuals. Krishna Lunch is in operation when the University is open for classes and we take breaks when the University takes breaks – giving us, in total, approximately 8 weeks of vacation time each year. We are looking for committed, reliable individuals who are able to take initiative, work efficiently and communicate well with volunteers.
