August 12, 2011 was Vara Maha-laksmi Puja, a very big festival in South India and other parts of India as well. It is especially important for the ladies of the family, who according to Manu and other sastras are representatives of Laksmidevi in the home.
The local Suvarna TV station came to the ISKCON Jagannatha Temple in Sheshadripuram, Bangalore and interviewed my wife, Sundari Radhika devi dasi, about how she a foreigner became interested in Vedic culture. The introduction is in Kannada, the rest in English. You can view it here:
