We are all distressed to hear the news that His Holiness Bhakti Charu Maharaja has recently contracted the Corona Virus and is in critical condition in the ICU unit of a hospital in the U.S. We therefore immediately made arrangements to carry on a daily Nrsimha Yajna for Maharaja’s protection and recovery. We are requesting all devotees to please keep Maharaja in your hearts and pray that he may quickly revive his health and completely recover from this virulent disease.

Yesterday HH Bhakti Charu Maharaj had a temperature of 104°F, so he was taken in an ambulance from DeLand farm to the hospital and was admitted into the Adventist hospital in DeLand. After 4 hours they discharged him. He decided to come to the preaching center near our house. My husband moved there to take care of him together with Shyama Murari prabhu and Anish prabhu.

I am cooking during lockdown... there are normally lots more preps than what you see in this vlog. We had to reduce the amount of preps during lockdown as it was just the Temple residents partaking of the maha prasadam.

In the UK, the Hare Krishna Festival team has stayed at home and stopped all their outreach activities since March 23rd due to COVID-19, a hard time for devotees used to distributing the Holy Name. From June 1st, however, the UK government has begun to ease restrictions slightly. Up to six people are now allowed to gather in public or private outdoor spaces without wearing masks, as long as they remain two meters (six feet) apart.

We have a very sweet dear child that needs your prayers. His name is Ramananda Granger from ISKCON Dallas. Diagnosis is still uncertain but he is very ill, pictured here he is having a CT scan done and he has a spinal tap schedule soon too. His family shares with us he loves to draw, he is a big fan of Lord Ramachandra, and he likes Minecraft a lot too. He is very soft hearted and thinks of others feelings.

I last was with him about one month before his departure. His smile was bigger and brighter that ever and when I first saw him I thought that he was fine. He was effulgent with love. He laughed and said that there were two things to which he was especially attached, dancing and traveling, and in one doctor visit Krsna took that away.

Shastrakrit Das: Tim approached me asking if any of the books on my book table talks about Krishna ? I was blown away by his question, so I asked him how he knew about Krishna ?! Tim said he heard his teacher Mooji talk highly about Gita and Krishna recently. So I showed Tim The SB set and explained to him how SB takes the theme of all the other books on my book table and expands on them. He eagerly wanted to take home the cantos and start reading them. This week we have served at 3 different rallies and plan on continuing 2 to 3 days a week. My wife (Naradi DD) and I (Bhagavan Narada Das) are cooking for 200 to 250 people each time. The protesters are very appreciative and peaceful. It has been an amazing opportunity to come out and support our community during this time of conflict and frustration. We have realized how important it is to make ourselves visible and available during this period all the while maintaining proper safety measures.
