The Omon riot police threw the personal belongings of the Hindus into the mud and snow, while loading the furniture on the back of trucks.

Forum 18 quoted a Hare Krishna spokesman, Maksim Varfolomeev, as saying riot police sealed off the 48-hectare farming commune before the bulldozing began.

Also today our documents were recieved at 10 Downing Street to be presented to Tony Blair. He has agreed to bring up the issue when he meets Nazarbayev today. Tomorrow there will be demonstrations at the London Stock Exchange when Nazarbayev visits there in the morning.

His father demanded that he renounce his faith and forced Saidov and his wife to eat meat and drink vodka (Krishna devotees do not eat meat or drink alcohol). When they would not deny their beliefs, Saidov's father expelled them from the house after seizing all their documents.
