Faith is not bhakti but is a very important part of bhakti. The Cambridge dictionary defines ‘faith’ as, "a great trust or confidence in something or someone." I think of Lord Krishna’s answer to Brahma prayers: “O Brahma, whatever appears to be of any value, if it is without relation to Me, has no reality. Prabhupada wrote and spoke millions and millions of words that are now accessible to anyone and everyone. Sometimes devotees quote a sentence or two from Prabhupada but don’t necessarily look to examine the context of what is being expressed. Were the words from a purport in one of his books? Sri Gopala Gosvami was the son of Venkata Bhatta, a resident of Sri Rangam.
