As the cold crisp 27th day of December dawned, the ISV Sankirtan team members were feeling grateful to Krsna for giving them one final opportunity of distributing Srila Prabhupada's books before the "2014 MSF of Yoga of Cooperation" was over. They were already brimming with confidence after an energizing conference call with ISV Sankirtan leaders, the night before. Moreover today, they were carrying along their lucky charm, the Kids Sankirtan team.

Yesterday we had a very nice preaching program in the prison for women in San Miguel, Santiago Chile. This program was attended by 22 devotees and more than 100 prisoners, besides the guards and members of the police. We started the program with some classical Indian ragas with Sitar, Santoor, mrdanga, Kartalas, Tambura, tabla, etc.

On the 10th and 11th January 2015, 130 industrialists and corporate leaders from around the world converged at Govardhan Eco Village to participate in talks and panel discussions that concerned the ‘Confluence of Vedic Wisdom and Modern Business’. Radhanath Swami and Dr. Ajay Piramal delivered keynote addresses. Dr. Piramal is the chairman of the Piramal Group, a leading business conglomerate.

On the morning of 13th December, by the arrangement of Krishnanagar (Nadia) D.M., there was a walking procession in Krishnanagar city, for the occasion of ‘Sabar janya Soucagar’. The administrative department called different religious organizations, such as, Christians, Muslims, Ramakrishna, Mother Teresa society, and ISKCON to join the program. The program was to demonstrate social unity to help clean the environment.

Every Saturday, ISKCON Seattle devotees under the leadership of HG Harivilas Prabhu (ACBSP) perform Sankirtana in the University District, Seattle. A dedicated team of devotees engages in the chanting of the Holy Names of the Lord while another dedicated team works on sharing Srila Prabhupada’s books with people and another team distributes free burritos and invitations for the My Sweet Lord Café – ISKCON Seattle’s free vegetarian and vegan restaurant.

We can also come to realize how much modern living has spoilt us by learning to live in a place, which has absolute bare necessities in terms of modern expectation, but has everything one needs to live.

We often hear Dhruv Maharaja Story. In fact we hear, get inspired and after the lecture is over we probably forget it.
