By Bhaktin Elle MitchellDr. Catherine Cornille, Chair of the Department of Theology and Professor of Comparative Theology in Boston College, and author of numerous books on inter-religious dialogue, phoned ISKCON Boston with a request: Could she bring a large group of theologians to the temple on a site visit to experience a non-Western religious tradition? The answer was a strong "Yes!" The devotees were also thrilled to know that Prof. Diana L. Eck, a long-time friend of ISKCON and co-director of the conference, would be among the visiting scholars. By Lomancita DasaWe just successfuly completed this year's padayatra. It was our thirteenth. It lasted eighteen blissful days: chanting, dancing, feasting, and serving all the time. Full samadhi! We distributed the holy names, prasada cookies, and books. About thirty participated full time, and the highest peak of devotees was fifty-seven. People in general appreciated the padayatra very much.

By Jaya Subhadra Devi DasiFor the first few years the average attendance was less than 5 students, generally just 1 or 2 students would participate in the weekly events. In recent years, however, the attendance has grown significantly to where 10 or more students participate on average. Weekly yoga sessions were added that helped to bring in more students to the core program of hearing, chanting and honoring of Krishna Prasadam. The St. Louis temple is soon to close on a purchase of a property a block away from the University to serve as a 'Krishna House'

By Lauren Abdel-RazzaqOn Saturday, the roads near Novi's civic center and public library became a 2½-mile parade route for the divinities Lord Jagannath (Krishna), his brother Lord Balabhadra and his sister Devi Subhadra. The celebration in Novi is a scaled-down version of what took place in India at the end of June. Three chariots, each four times as high as the one in Novi, are pulled through the streets with close to a million attendees watching. Each deity gets its own chariot.

By Visnu Murti dasaAs of November 2012 the full Bible has been translated into 518 languages, and 2,798 languages have at least some portion of the Bible. The BBT has printed Śrīla Prabhupāda's Bhagavad-gītā As It Is in 58 languages and there are one or more of Śrīla Prabhupāda’s books in 86 languages. Our little effort of translating short videos clips into 64 languages can surely be expanded. In fact this is a perfect way to begin translating into a new language - preparing devotees to be translators’ of Śrīla Prabhupāda's books.

By Sarvabhauma DasaI live in hot and humid Houston, Texas, a world away from Iceland, the unique North Atlantic island nation born entirely from thousands of volcanic eruptions. Despite attempts by devotees to preach there over the years, Iceland is one of the last Krishna conscious frontiers in the Western world, with no established temple or preaching center. Earlier this year, however, I discovered that Iceland has not at all been forgotten by Srila Prabhupada and Lord Caitanya.

Now that we have Srila Prabhupada's English language books converted, we're working diligently on all the languages the North European BBT publishes. And we're beginning to upload other material to the site - audio books (the first volume of the Brhad-Bhagavatamrta is up, narrated by Kesava Bharati Maharaja along with a number of recordings of Srila Prabhupada's books), podcasts, and BBT art images.

By Niranjana SwamiOn behalf of the devotees in Ukraine, I would like to express my deep gratitude for the outpouring of support already shown from our worldwide Vaisnava community within the last two days. The response has been overwhelming. The situation remains volatile and fluid. Each day more devotees are submitting requests for places to take refuge. Each day more facilities are opening up. Repairs on the retreat center have already begun. Most of those who have taken refuge there are providing all the labor required to upgrade the facilities to better ...

By Ukrainian Vaisnava Refugee FundNeedless to say that the military operation badly affected our devotee communities in those cities as well. By Krsna’s grace, no devotee has been killed or injured in the conflict, although a few have had a very narrow escape. But while some of them continue risking their lives trying to maintain temple worship and programs, many find it necessary to relocate their families to safety, leaving their homes and possessions behind.
