By Bhakti Caitanya SwamiPrabhupada said that. Prabhupada said at the end of one class, to go back to Godhead you have to be 100% pure, all the devotees were like - me, 100% pure, don't know about that! And Prabhupada noticed and said, at least 90%. And devotees were still - leaves me out. Prabhupada said at least 80%. Still it was the same. And Prabhupada said just take hold of my dhoti and I will take you back, I have the key to the back door. (haribol)

By Jaganmohini Devi DasiWhen one studies the life and works of several prominent scientists, such as Newton, Planck, Pasteur, Einstein and Schrödinger, one discovers that they were inclined towards spirituality in comprehending their worldview of nature and reality. Their reflections are thus great assets to the works of Bhaktivedanta Institute that focuses on 'Theistic interpretation of empirical observation'.

By Narayani Devi DasiNarayani Mataji is a devotee of Lord Krishna since 40 years. Her guru is Srila Prabhupada. She speaks on how she continued to stay in ISKCON inspite of so many problems. She talks about women in ISKCON and about the devotees in ISKCON. She talks about the organisation and about the devotees. She talks about splinter groups and controversies in ISKCON. Srila Prabhupada said that ISKCON is my body. She also tells us what to do if we see something in ISKCON that is not appearing right.

By Bhajahari dasThis amazing video was taken during last Saturday Night's Harinam. The Eve of Lord Chaitanya's Appearance Day. Govinda Prabhu always leads a joyful Kirtan. This weekend the joy spilt out all over these fortunate young revellers. These days, it is not at all unusual for this sort of spontaneous participation to take place. People genuinely like and appreciate the devotees.

By Prahladananda SwamiI am writing to seek help with a project for the Health and Welfare Ministry. Over a year ago I wrote a book that contains two parts. The first part is a complication of all the instructions that I could find about Srila Prabhupada's instructions on health for ISKCON devotees. The second part is comprised of different articles I have written about health. I have not been able to find a devotee who would be able to layout the book and therefore it has not yet been published.

By Prahladananda SwamiThere are six loving exchanges. This Hare Krishna movement is an opportunity to explore and experience those six loving exchanges between the devotees. By offering prasad, by learning how to actually accept prasadam, by chanting the Holy Name, learning how to actually receive the Holy Name. By offering the gift of pure love of Krishna to others and being willing to accept the gift of pure loving service to Krishna from others. These are the loving exchanges.

By Dulal Chandra DasaWhile treading the path of sadhana-bhakti, scorching rays of contrary mentalities burn in our head; our feet stumble on pebbles of misconception; thorny bushes of material desire obstruct our passage. Although our mind screams with good reason to retreat, we somehow push on. Stumbling to the ground we notice something shimmering on the roadway. Reaching out we grasp a polished gemstone - Is this meant for me? Suddenly the entire pathway is paved with such gemstones, fragrant flowers line our path and a cloud bank of amazing sweetness shades us. How magic...

By Rasaraja dasa His Divine Grace saw Krishna Consciousness as a 'science" in the sense material scientists define science too. Thus, there is a place within our siddhanta for a scientific study of matter to be in the contemporary sense of the word, as pointed out by Srila Prabhupada. We have taken it that the Bhaktivedanta Institute has to fulfil this instruction. This point needs to be fully grasped to adequately understand the work of Bhaktivedanta Institute as a truly scientific institute, presenting the scientific basis of Krishna Consciousness in a rigorous manner, as Sr...

By Parasuram dasA disciple of a prominent spiritual leader once said to Srila Prabhupada. "My spiritual master said to avoid women and never go where there are women". Srila Prabhupada laughed and said "that's impossible, there are women everywhere". Then coming back to the temple and watching two women devotees bow down to him, he said," by associating with these women, you will be purified".

By Kodandaram dasAfter enlivening Q/A session there was a drama of Bilwamangala Thakura which completely stunned the students and the teachers as well. They told us that they have never seen such a performance. At the end they were served sumptuous prasadam and each of them received a copy of the fifth canto of Srimad Bhagavatam.

By Bhaktivaibhava SwamiThe sadhu goes begging from door to door, "My dear sir or My dear lady! Why you are wasting your precious human form of life? After millions and billions of years you have received this rare gift of this human form. Why you are wasting your time like this?" But unfortunately most of the time people are not, they are not ready to receive transcendental knowledge, they have no taste for it.

By Candramauli SwamiService to pure devotee is the best of all service and by that service one gets awarded affinity, one gets attraction, attachment to hear and chant the glories of the Lord and that's what we are looking for. We want that. We want to become so attracted to hearing and chanting the glories of the Lord that if we don't have that opportunity we feel disturbed. If we are not absorbed in the mood of trying to hear and chant the glories of the Lord we don't find the happiness we are looking for.

By the BBTIn cooperation with the ISKCON GBC, the Bhaktivedanta Book Trust is marking March 14 as the first annual “BBT Only” Day. This is a day to remember the following important instructions from Srila Prabhupada: He formed the BBT to serve as his exclusive publisher. He wanted all his books purchased exclusively from the BBT. His Divine Grace gave those instructions in a letter addressed to all ISKCON temples. The letter was dated March 14, 1974. March 14 this year will be the fortieth anniversary of that letter.

By Bhakti Asraya Vaisnava SwamiSomehow or the other Prabhupada gave association to his devotees, and these devotees gave association to their devotees. These devotees gave association to other devotees. By this, mercy is coming down in the disciplic succession. And whoever is jijnasu, whoever is really interested, whoever is the real human being, whoever is really tatva jijnasu, they can achieve the merit, the benefit of this association-by getting books, by getting prasad, by hearing kirtan, by doing parikrama, from many other ways. But unless you come in contact with these ...

By Danavir GoswamiSo,in our process we have everything. We have the acts of surrender and we have the philosophy. We have knowledge. Sometimes Prabhupada would say, if you just chant Hare Krishna that's sufficient. And if you want to understand from a philosophical point of view, we have so many books to convince you. Either way. It's not that everybody is necessarily philosophical minded. Although at least those who take initiation they should try to be, even if they are not necessarily philosophically inclined, they should try to become that way. And so they'll read Prabhu...

By Krsnanandini Devi DasiI myself have personally given birth to 10 children: 5 boys and 5 girls. And I have to tell you, at the birth of each of my children, I personally offered them at the lotus feet of Prabhupada. And every single one of those children have helped me to surrender more to the lotus feet of Sri Sri Radha Krishna. Because I knew that I was totally helpless to take care of this person, I was totally helpless to give them Krishna consciousness and that I had to be totally dependent on Prabhupada and Radha Bankabihari, my istadev, to do the work for them, and ...

By Bhaktitirtha SwamiSometimes I like to mention how our temples are like embassies in the material world. We travelled to come here, and many of us had to get a visa. And it's a feature of travelling, so many places you go with that passport or some type of travelling documents. So the embassy arranges for you to have authorized rights of passage. The embassy is not an ordinary building even though it's in a certain street. Those who work in the embassy have certain diplomatic immunity sometimes, autonomy. And so that little building can determine whether or not you can go ...
