Great to hear your talk. May I offer some insights based upo 30 plus years of observations and direct involvement with farming and preaching on ISKCON soil. Locally grown produce and grain production is not prioritized because, quite honestly, it's easier to showcase a few cows to Hindu donors and use that revenue to buy bhoga. Two years ago I spoke at ISKCON's North American farm conference and distributed a candid essay entitled, "Cow Chauvinism: The Case for More Kale and Less Bull." Recently, I participated in a zoom conference entitled, The Second Half of Srila Prabhupada's Mission: A Farmers Perspective." 500 views so far.
