This is very nice mataji ,thank you..I wonder if or any devotee would know from Srimad Bhagavatam the rule of each sungod:
In Bhagavad Gita 4.1 in the purport Srila Prabhupada writes:

“In this millennium, the sun-god is known as Vivasvan, the king of the sun, which is the origin of all planets within the solar system. In the Brahma-samhita it is stated:

    yac-caksur esa savita sakala-grahanam
    raja samasta-sura-murtir asesa-tejah
    yasyajnaya bhramati sambhrta-kala-cakro
    govindam adi-purusam tam aham bhajami

“Let me worship,” Lord Brahma said, “the Supreme Personality of Godhead, Govinda [Krsna], who is the original person and under whose order the sun, which is the king of all planets, is assuming immense power and heat. The sun represents the eye of the Lord and traverses its orbit in obedience to His order.”
The sun is the king of the planets, and the sun-god (at present of the name Vivasvan) rules the sun planet, which is controlling all other planets by supplying heat and light. He is rotating under the order of Krsna, and Lord Krsna originally made Vivasvan His first disciple to understand the science of Bhagavad-gita. The Gita is not, therefore, a speculative treatise for the insignificant mundane scholar but is a standard book of knowledge coming down from time immemorial ”

How long is the reign of each Sungod, I might have read it in Srimad Bhagavatam in the past but I just do not recall.

and another important detail given by Srila Prabhupada in Bhagavad Gita 4.1 purport is:

In the Mahabharata (Santi-parva 348.51-52) we can trace out the history of the Gita as follows:

treta-yugadau ca tato vivasvan manave dadau
    manus ca loka-bhrty-artham sutayeksvakave dadau
iksvakuna ca kathito vyapya lokan avasthitah

“In the beginning of the Treta-yuga [millennium] this science of the relationship with the Supreme was delivered by Vivasvan to Manu. Manu, being the father of mankind, gave it to his son Maharaja Iksvaku, the king of this earth planet and forefather of the Raghu dynasty in which Lord Ramacandra appeared.” Therefore, Bhagavad-gita existed in the human society from the time of Maharaja Iksvaku.

    Mother Abhay Mudra,
    Please accept my humble obeisances.
    All glories to Srila Prabhupada.
I was told by my spiritual authority that I should have my posts edited. I would be very grateful if a person with the skills you have would look over an article I want to submit. If you are willing please contact me at: dana.seamon@gmail.com

we can not talk about the sun without quoting this vers from Brahma Samhita:

    Śrī Brahma-saḿhitā 5.52

    yac-cakṣur eṣa savitā sakala-grahāṇāḿ

    rājā samasta-sura-mūrtir aśeṣa-tejāḥ

    yasyājñayā bhramati sambhṛta-kāla-cakro

    govindam ādi-puruṣaḿ tam ahaḿ bhajāmi

    SYNONYMS

yat — of whom; cakṣuḥ — the eye; eṣaḥ — the; savitā — sun; sakala-grahāṇām — of all the planets; rājā — the king; samasta-sura — of all the demigods; mūrtiḥ — the image; aśeṣa-tejāḥ — full of infinite effulgence; yasya — of whom; ājñayā — by the order; bhramati — performs his journey; sambhṛta — complete; kāla-cakraḥ — the wheel of time; govindam — Govinda; ādi-puruṣam — the original person; tam — Him; aham — I; bhajāmi — worship.

    TRANSLATION

The sun who is the king of all the planets, full of infinite effulgence, the image of the good soul, is as the eye of this world. I adore the primeval Lord Govinda in pursuance of whose order the sun performs his journey mounting the wheel of time.

    PURPORT by Srila Bhaktisiddhanta Prabhupada

Certain professors of the Vedic religion worship the sun as Brahman. The sun is one of the hierarchy of the five gods. Some people target in heat the source of this world and therefore designate the sun, the only location of heat, as the root cause of this world. Notwithstanding all that may be said to the contrary, the sun is after all only the presiding deity of a sphere of the sum total of all mundane heat and is hence a god exercising delegated authority. The sun performs his specific function of service certainly by the command of Govinda.

In Modruma Dvipa Srila Bhaktivinoda Thakura obtained darshan of Surya, he has described this in his Navadvipa Bhava Taranga:

120 Crossing over the river Viraja and bypassing the town of Brahmani Nagar, I will climb on top of the hill called Arka Tila(The hill of the sun god). sitting there in solitude and worshipping Lord Gaurahari, I will become intoxicated with sweet nectar-mellow of the holy name by singing it with great relish.

121 Arka-deva, the sun god, will mercifully appear to me – with red-hued complexion, long arms, wearing pinkish cloth and Tulasi beads, with sandalwood paste spread over all his limbs, the name of Gaurahari constantly on his tongue, and tears flowing from his eyes.

122 He will speak to me, “Dear child, I have appeared before you because you are the devotee of Gauranga. We demigods, although powerful directors of material affairs, are also servants of Gauranga’s lotus feet. In my mind, I simply aspire to be the servant of the servant of Gaura.”

123 “By my blessings, you will get Krsna-bhakti, and you will have the spiritual strength to live in the Dhama and sing the Lord’s pure holy name. But please come here from time to time, singing the nectar-smeared name of Krsna for my satisfaction.”

124 Falling down like a rod to offer obeisances at Surya-deva’s feet, I will then proceed onward to the town of Mahatpur. This Mahatpur is non different from the forest of Kamyavan, a place of Krsna’s pastimes in Braja. Here the devotees of Lord Gaura raise a tumultuous sound in chanting the name and glories of Sri Krsna
