Pattie Boyd recently visited Bhaktivedanta Manor, Hare Krishna Temple to mark the 50th anniversary of George buying the Manor Temple and donating it to the devotees.
"I burst into tears when I heard he had died; I felt completely bereft. I couldn't bear the thought of a world without George. When I left him for Eric, he had said that if things didn't work out, I could always come to him. It was such a selfless, loving thing to say." – Patti Boyd
I think that says it all about who was George Harrison. There is a picture of him and Patti with a photo of Srila Prabhupada in the lower right hand corner. The spiritual connection appears to have stuck.
