Parasuram das
Two days ago a massive dam in Eastern Ukraine was destroyed. 40,000 people have been made homeless. Vraja Sakha Prabhu from ISKCON Zaporizhzhya explained to us that there is a serious disaster ahead. Firstly the Nuclear Power Station is in a precarious situation, it needs both electricity and water to prevent a meltdown.
Secondly there will be a great shortage of drinking water and water for
agriculture. The devotees of Zaporizhzhya are continuing to keep the temple open and maintain their services as long as possible, more likely that they will never stop.
Our team from the U.K. and Czech Republic are joining up with the Kherson and Dnipro devotees to distribute Prasad. We are leaving tomorrow, driving non stop to Kherson.
It is always a great honour to serve with the wonderful Ukrainian devotees.
If anyone is in a position to help financially, well now is a good time.
