EDITOR’S LETTER
Welcome to the third issue of The Vaishnavi Voice – a digital newsletter for the men and women of the Australian yatra.
The past three years were unprecedented as we all experienced a complete change in travel, and how we lived and interacted with each other. Finally, lockdowns seem to be over, travel is almost back to normal, and devotees are once again able to visit the holy places in India.
Digital outreach hasn’t stopped with the cessation of lockdowns, however. This format of engagement continues to be a wonderful way of presenting Krishna consciousness to the world and engaging with each other via reading groups and online courses. Even many management meetings continue to be via the internet.
So, here is the third issue of The Vaishnavi Voice. I hope you all enjoy reading what’s been going on in the different temples around our zone.
We are honoured to have a well-known guest writer this issue. Pranada devi dasi, a disciple of ISKCON’s Founder-Acharya His Divine Grace A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada is an award-winning author of Wise Love: Bhakti and the Search for the Soul of Consciousness as well as other books in her bhakti series. (www.pranadacomtois.com)
