It seems that as conditioned souls we all write the same way of making reviews, authoring papers and evaluating. It seems as though we cherry pick certain quotes from Srila Prabhupada and Scripture that we are most familiar with according to the Books we have read. And we just trot them all out in our writings. In Iskcon, devotees write in a particular style, and independent devotees write in a free-style.
I found most of KDD quotes in his review very familiar, which seems to fit the model of writing, atypical style of writing. While it is difficult to be all inclusive it behooves us devotees following Srila Prabhupada to be more inclusive.
There is no reason to suppose that because Srila Prabhupada is not Physically Present , and He is certainly not "posthumous" or dead, He is still living in sound which is described in detail in Srila Prabhupada's Book Elevation to KC, chapter 4 where He emphasizes Vani over Vapuh
My conclusions about Srila Prabhupada's definitions on the Spiritual Master's Presence is the very first issue, point and principles that we need to deal with asap. It appears that ALL of the Papers connected to Initiations and the Spiritual Master dont start at the beginning and that many assumptions are made on the Diksha Guru's Presence and how that works for future Disciples who have not met Srila Prabhupada in His temporary Vapuh status. If there is any principle at all that we have ALL missed on this issue of Initiations its Vani.
