A new book about the Life and times of Srila Prabhupada entitled ‘Calcutta – City of Divine Grace’ by Rajasekhara Dasa Brahmachari – is being released on December 20th, 2023 – at the prestigious Scottish Church College where Shril Prabhupada studied in his youth. The book reveals many hidden facts about Shrila Prabhupada’s birth & early life as he grew up in Calcutta during British rule. The book also covers the early history of Calcutta from the time Lord Chaitanya visited Baranagar (Varahanagara) in north Calcutta in the year 1510. The book contains more than 40 Prabhupada disciples’ memoirs who served in Calcutta during Prabhupada’s earthly pastimes. There are also 88 pages of photo-graphs of Shrila Prabhupada & his disciples in Calcutta.
