31,591 Srimad Bhagavatam Sets: A Global Wave of Transformation | HG Vaisesika Dasa

by Administrator / 23 Oct 2024 / Published in testing  /

Our total for this year was 31,591 sets. I want you to just meditate for a second on what 31,000 sets—not books, but sets of Srimad Bhagavatam—cost. Think of the efforts that Srila Prabhupada undertook to translate them, and then how his servants finished translating and commenting upon these sacred texts.

Now, consider what it means to print that many books. Think of the chain of devotees who have put their life and soul into making sure those books are available, printed in many different languages.

And then, think of the end result: how 31,591 individual sets have been placed in different locations. That number is just for this year alone! Take a moment to meditate on where each one of these sets might be. You may not know exactly where each set is, but imagine the profound life changes they are sparking and the positive impact they are having across the planet.

There are many ways people negatively affect the world, but this is the most positive and auspicious way that we can bring about real change.

So, take a moment to meditate on this. As you do, also meditate on the number 10,800. If you’re not into tattoos, you can at least put a “tattoo” of this number on your brain!
